Damilola Junaid

Dami, graduated from Gordon College '14 with a B.S in Biology (Pre-medicine concentration) and a minor in Economics. Due to her passion for improving women’s health in Nigeria, Dami has exposed herself to community service and discourse in healthcare through her advocacy and empowerment-focused work with ARISE. To further prepare for a career in healthcare leadership, she worked for two years as an OB/GYN research technician at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston, gaining a better appreciation of the behind-the-scenes work. In a major project, she helped facilitate the discovery of a correlation between increased HIV susceptibility and the use of hormonal contraceptives in women cross-culturally. She recently graduated from Business school at Bentley University
